Guinness for Himself, Harp for Herself
Happy St. Paddy's Day from my favorite crooners!
I'm about as Irish as the Swedish Chef, but I do appreciate St. Patrick's Day, if only that it seems to be another harbinger of spring. Today for lunch, we headed to The Pub in downtown Oconomowoc. The proprietors hail from Sligo in Ireland and have taken every measure to create an authentic Irish experience here in town. Not fans of corned beef and cabbage, Eric had shepherd's pie and I had salmon and red potatoes. Of course, it wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day without a pint, not the green Miller Lite served on college campuses, but one real pint of Guinness for Eric and Harp for me.
