Beginning with the Feast of All Saints (November 1st) and the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day - November 2nd), a centuries-old tradition calls for remembering our deceased family and friends in prayer for the entire month of November. It is a such comfort that Marquette provides students, staff, and alumni an opportunity to offer prayers for departed loved ones to be placed before the altars in campus Chapels throughout the month. This year, I have asked that the Marquette community pray for my Mom as she has joined my Dad in Heaven.
