"Skywriting"

As we drove to work on this chilly September morning, the sun just clearing the horizon, I was struck by the unusual cloud formation above our heads. All my friends in Southeastern Wisconsin, you saw this too, right? "Fish bones," Eric declared. I agreed until I noticed this feather, clearly illuminated in the brightening sky: A plume with which to write your deepest thoughts, a wish for the day, or even a prayer in invisible ink, written across the heavens!
