"Photography is the art of frozen time."
The first day of Spring Break looked more like Christmas vacation this morning, except for the daffodils peaking through the snow and the new silver maple buds encased in ice. I grabbed my camera and my "helper," who can never resist an opportunity to explore, and set out to capture this rare beauty. By the time I had uploaded the photos onto my computer, the warm sun had already defrosted the branches and large patches of green grass had appeared in the melting snow. Timing is everything!
