During the month of October, iconic landmarks around the world, including the Empire State Building, the Colosseum, and the Burj al Arab will be illuminated in pink to shine a light on breast cancer awareness. Last week in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais, the Conciergerie, the Opera Garnier were also illuminated in rosy hues. Paris' mayor Anne Hidalgo and the president of Estée Lauder presided over the illumination ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. Along with the pink reminders, the BCA's "Hear our stories. Share yours" features digital stories designed to create a global community of strength and support for survivors and their families.
