September 10, 2013 Photo of the day: "Stunning"

Curiously, I really don't like this rose. I would never plant it in my garden (absolutely no red or orange at all), yet it is certainly stunning and immediately caught my eye. I'm not sure if I was attracted by its nearly perfect form or its almost garish colors. I do love the droplets left on the petals after someone carefully watered it. Just as I am attracted to expressionism, surrealism, and abstract art while not finding the genres particularly beautiful, the more I look at this rose, the more I am fascinated by it.
